  • A clear glass bottle of 1968 Portsmouth white rum with a gold cap and a Medal of Honor Spirits badge at the bottom right.

    1968 Unaged Rum

    Bright. Aromatic. Exceptionally Mixable.

Distilled in historical Fort Cumberland at Portsmouth Distillery Co., 1968 White Rum is a unique, unaged spirit crafted entirely from sugar-cane syrup—not molasses—sourced from Central America.

This intentional choice gives it a distinctive aromatic brightness that's rare in UK-made rums.

    Crafted from Cane, Not Molasses

Made using dehydrated sugar-cane juice rehydrated into syrup, then long-fermented (up to 4 weeks) and twice-distilled in their 500L pot/column still combo. The result is a cleaner, more floral, and fruit-forward profile than typical molasses-based rums.

    Water-Efficient Infrastructure Investment

Their crowdfunding and expansion projects include installing an in‑line water chiller to reduce water usage by up to 95%, demonstrating a clear commitment to resource conservation.

1968 Unaged White Rum is perfect for:

Cocktail innovators seeking a clean, vibrant base.

Sippers who appreciate subtle nuance in unaged spirits.
